OPEN’s Partner - Royal School for Educational Therapy Foundation (RSETF) and OPEN were covered at a press conference in Abuja, Nigeria for our STEM for Special Needs Students with Disabilities.
Through US Embassy Support RSETF and OPEN are researching and training STEM Special Education teachers from five schools in Abuja on how to integrate STEM learning/teaching in special needs schools.
OPEN Cited in Academic Paper: OPEN was cited in IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology Conference (GHTC) academic paper – page 120 and 121 on its successful deployments and testing of the Imcon Internet Backpack for both emergency services/disaster response and education applications with its partners the Goma Volcano Observatory (OVG), Cinquantenaire school in the Eastern DR Congo, and Syracuse University School of Information Studies.
