Background

This activity allows students to conduct research on the Grizzly (Brown) Bear. This animal is found in large numbers in the Brooks Camp area on the Katmai National Park and Preserve.

Object

  1. The learner will develop an understanding of the characteristics and behaviors of the Grizzly Brown) bear.
  2. The learner will how humans cohabit with the bear.
