Worldwide Learning Expedition

The Journey began in April 2000. OPEN visiting teachers William J. McCarthy and Lisa Falciglia explored the world, visiting many cultures, meeting interesting people, having some fun and adventure, while sharing their exciting experiences with remote OPEN classrooms. From ports and villages around the world Bill and Lisa and their colleagues along the way reported on history, ecology, geography and social sciences.

We learned about the natural treasures of the Galapagos, the exotic beauty of Cambodia and the cultural heritage of India, Thailand, Vietnam, and other fascinating places around the world.
